Career Works
People aged 16-29 can join CareerWorks, an light-touch employment program that works with youth for one to three weeks.
Through CareerWorks, you will meet virtually or in-person with an employment worker to access resume and cover letter support and writing. This program also assists with job market research and job searching. Once you’re ready to interview, we assist with practice and preparation.
Job Action Centre (JAC)
Job Action Centre program and that is a program for youth 16-29 who self-identify as having a disability that impacts their ability to find work (physical limitations, learning, intellectual, mental health, addictions, etc.) In this program, you work one on one with an employment worker on a program designed just for you. This program helps get you job ready and provides support in finding a job placement. through effective resume and cover letter writing
We provided assistance with resume, interview preparation, help with the job search and application process. Interview practice and preparation. Free certifications and financial aid to help alleviate barriers to employment.
Once you secure employment you will receive follow along support for the first 12 weeks to help ensure your success in long term employment.
