Job Action Centre
Job Action Centre is a program for youth 16-29 who self-identify as having a disability. This includes ADHD, anxiety, neurodiversity and many other invisible disabilities. You will work one on one with an employment professional on a program designed just for you.
We will assist you with resume and cover letters, interview preparation and provide financial aid and cover certifications such as First aid, WHMIS, Smart serve, Safe food handling, CannSell and more!
Once you secure a position our team follow along and support you for the first 12 weeks of employment and help to set you up for long term success.
Career Works
Youth 16-29 can join CareerWorks, an light-touch employment program that works with you for over a few weeks. Through CareerWorks, you will meet virtually or in-person with an employment worker. They will work with you one one one to assist you with resume and cover letter support. This program also assists with job market research and throughout the job application process. We offer some financial aid and cover in demand industry certifications. Once you’re ready to interview, we assist with practice and preparation.
